Hostel Facility
The school extended an additional facility — hostel facility — from the academic session 2014/15. School had advanced in this direction to fulfill the increasing demands of parents’ community from home and abroad. Hostel provides the facility like security with insurance, Wi-Fi, Yoga, Meditation, Basketball/T.T., Luxury room, Laundry services, Library and Cafeteria with 100% vegetarian food. The hostel of DAVSKVB is situated at Kupandole, opposite to UN Park which at the distance of 5 km from school.

Welcome to DAV Hostel
DAVSKVB has always strived for producing disciplined and cultured global citizens by providing education based on the amalgamation of Anglo and Vedic values i.e. western mind and eastern heart. Moving a step ahead in our mission, we have finally come up with DAV Hostel to cater the needs of today’s learners who need proper learning environment and guidance. At DAV Hostel, we provide homely environment to the students and make sure that they get healthy and hygienic diet. Students at DAV Hostel also get access to the facilities like sports (cricket, basketball, football etc) and entertainment (television, internet). Students’ safety is our prime concern, which is why we have 24 hours security and CCTV surveillance at our hostel. Moreover, we also run extra classes and coaching classes as per the needs of the students.

Separate student’s common room equipped with recreational facilities such as big screen plasma T.V., audio system.
Laundry facilities available.

Admission
Criteria:

Must be students of DAV.
Must deserve merits and needs.

Procedure:

Parent’s consent letter followed by local guardian’s committement.
Student’s committement letter.
Recommendation letter approved by DAV teacher principal.
Medical Fitness certificate( medical history form attached at the end) Photocopy of the certificate and mark sheet of the last class attended.

N.B.:
It is essential for parents local guardians to accompany their wards at the time of admission failing which the candidate will not be admitted. It is emphasized that the local guardian will represent the parents and take responsibility of their ward in case of emergencies, medical and otherwise during short holidays and vacations. The local guardian is required to be available on all the contact nos. provided to the hostel.
