5th Event of Sushil Kedia Memorial Sports Gala: 2nd Inter School Taekwondo Championship Successfully Conducted

DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati School, Jawalakhel, successfully organised a thrilling 2nd Inter School Taekwondo Championship, bringing together 110 young athletes from 14 schools.
The championship was filled with energy, discipline, and exciting performances as players competed for 26 Gold, 26 Silver, and 52 Bronze medals.
DAV School emerged as the overall team champion, with Shristi Academy finishing as runner-up and Machhapuchchhre IB World School as the 2nd runner-up. Genius IB World School was recognised as the most enthusiastic team of the tournament.
Individual honours included Yuvan K.C. of Genius IB World School and Akshunna Rai of DAV School as the best male and female poomsae players. Samrat Ayer of Shristi Academy and Tanishqa Shah of D.A.V. School were named best male and female fighters. Nirbhaya K.C. of Paradise Reader’s Academy and Saarvi Ghimire of Shristi Academy received the emerging player awards.
The championship was conducted smoothly with the support of 13 official referees and juries, ensuring fair and professional competition. The championship was graced by the benign presence of Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia and Mr. Ramachandra Khanal.
