6th Event of Sushil Kedia Memorial Sports Gala: DAV School Wins 2nd Late Sushil Kedia Inter-School Yoga Competition

DAV School won the overall team championship at the 2nd Late Sushil Kedia Inter-School Yoga Competition held on September 5. Asia Pacific School secured second place, while Occidental Public School finished third overall.
The competition brought together nine schools—Camellia Secondary School, Wilson Academy, Lalitpur Global Academy, Bishnu Gyan Pathshala, Asia Pacific School, Xavier International School, Occidental Public School, Global Pathshala School and DAV School.
DAV students performed exceptionally well in different age categories. In the boys’ category, Amit R. Gupta secured third place in Classes 5–6, while Kushal Khadayat was named the Best Performer in Classes 7–8. Aarambha Khanal won second place in Classes 9–10.
The girls’ team delivered an impressive performance, with Sharon Shrestha, Ananya Adhikari and Leona Shrestha securing first place in Classes 5–6, 7–8 and 9–10, respectively.
With excellent performances across all categories, especially a clean sweep of first places in the girls’ divisions, DAV School emerged as the overall champion and proudly lifted the championship trophy.
Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji in the presence of Head of the Physical Education and Sports Department Mr. Purnendu Ghosh honoured all the winners with trophies, medals and merit certificates.
