Avanie Rai Wins Women’s Title in the Himalayan Swing Open Charity Golf Tournament

Avanie Rai, a student of Grade IX ‘H’, has once again made the DAV SKVB community proud by winning the women’s title at the Himalayan Swing Open Charity Golf Tournament held at Gokarna Resort on 31st October.
Competing in the women’s category, Avanie secured the title with an impressive score of 32 points. The Charity Golf Tournament was organised by the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers (RCHG) to raise funds and awareness for the Golf for All initiative, which promotes youth and women’s participation in golf across Nepal.
Earlier this year, Avanie was awarded a Golf for All scholarship worth Rupees 25 lakhs. She also holds the distinction of being the first Nepali female golfer selected for international training.
