English Week, 2026 on Fifth Day: Movie Review Writing for Grade V and VI Students

William Wordsworth Club organised a movie screening in Buddha Hall as part of the English Week Celebration, Day 5 on August 21. The movie shown to the students was WALL-E. The primary objective of the movie screening was to provide students with an opportunity to watch and enjoy a film in a shared space. Similarly, the objective of movie review writing was to analyze, critique, and communicate the artistic and commercial value of the film to an audience.
After watching the movie, the students were asked to write a movie review during the seventh period in their respective classrooms. The reviews will be evaluated by the respective English language teachers. The top three winners from each section will be honoured during the closing ceremony of English Week.
