Results of Top Portfolio Holders of Student's Council Announced in the Assembly

The Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao announced the results of top portfolio holders of Student's Council for the session 2023/24 in the special morning assembly of 15th May, 2023.
As per the results announced by the Principal in assembly, the winners of Student's Council of Senior School (Grade IX to XII) are Srijan Kumar Gupta (Head Boy), Vidisha Nepal (Head Girl), Bhawesh Agrawal (Sports Captain) and Niyati Sharma (Cultural Captain).
In the election held on 10th May, 2023, Srijan scored 414 votes, Vidisha scored 256 votes, Bhawesh scored 273 votes and Niyati scored 217 and made their position in Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain and Cultural Captain respectively.
Similarly, the winners of Student's Council of middle school (Grade V to VIII) are Sitanandan Sharma (Head Boy), Hemakshi Agarwal (Head Girl), Ming Hang Huang (Sports Captain) and Krishtika Yadav (Cultural Captain).
To make the position for major position of Student's Council of middle school, Sitanandan scored 293 votes, Hemakshi scored 277 votes, Ming Hang scored 328 votes and Krishtika scored 217 votes.
The Principal extended huge congratulations to all the winners and equally admired all the nominees for making election process highly competitive and worthy to watch for all of us. Meanwhile, she also noted that each of the nominees were good in themselves however one has to accept the results being a part of election process.
The Principal motivated each one of them and said that to get nomination for major portfolio holders of Student's Council is a big achievement itself in a School like DAV and suggested all the participants to maintain the spirit of competition in the days to come.
All the students were blessed endlessly by the Principal in the future Endeavour.
For more information, the newly elected major portfolio holders of Student's Council along with executive members of Students Council, Houses and Clubs will take oath of office formally in the investiture ceremony of their respective wing and carry their duties and responsibilities soon.
