
Participation in International Education Day Celebration

On January 24, a total of 63 students from Grade VII (Sections A and I) participated in the International Education Day celebration programme organised by the Community Police Service Centre, Sanepa, Lalitpur. The event brought together students from 11 schools across Wards 4, 5, and 6 of Lalitpur Metropolitan City and was hosted at Radiant Readers Academy, Sanepa, Lalitpur.
The programme featured a keynote address by DIG Mr. Shyam Lal Tamang from the Ranipokhari Police Office, who introduced the Nepal Police's "Police School Partnership" programme designed for school students. Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal was also invited as a special guest in the programme. Adding to the event's educational value, police personnel from Nepal Police School presented a short musical drama focusing on critical issues such as drug abuse, cybercrime, and gender inequality. The drama was complemented by awareness-generating songs and dance performances by the Nepal Police School artists.
DAV students were accompanied by Middle School teachers Mr. Sheetal Upadhaya, Mr. Dilip Bikram Acharya, and Mr. Bijay Lama, who provided support and encouragement throughout the programme. The event offered a valuable opportunity for students to gain insights into societal issues while fostering their holistic development.
