Award Ceremony to the Achievers of Fight Back Nepal for the Month of September and November, 2025: Principal Acknowledges Fight Back Nepal for Enabling DAV SKVB School to be at the Forefront of Skill-based Safety Education

DAVSKVB School organised an award ceremony during the Middle School's assembly to honour the achievers of Fight Back Nepal for the months of September and November, 2025 today (12th December, 2025).
The award ceremony was graced by DAV SKVB Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia, Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, and Founding Director of Fight Back Nepal Mr. Vikrant Raj Pandey. Students enrolled in the Fight Back Training Course were recognised for their outstanding performance and presented with medals.
According to Ms. Ashmita Sharma, Marketing Manager and E-Learning Officer at Fight Back Nepal, the awardees represented Level 1 (Girls), Level 2 (Girls), and Level 2 (Boys) categories in both individual and team events. A total of 21 students in the individual category and 30 students in the group category were honoured for their remarkable achievements over the two-month period. The medals were presented by the Chairperson in the presence of the Principal, Fight Back Founder and representatives of Fight Back Nepal- Mr. Arman Pandey (Programme Head), Ms. Ashmita Sharma (Marketing and E-Learning Officer), Ms. Garima Giri (Senior Instructor), and Ms. Punam Kumari Luitel (Senior Instructor).
In his brief address, Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia highlighted DAV’s commitment to building a strong foundation for students and emphasised that programmes like Fight Back play a vital role in nurturing their emotional well-being. Echoing this sentiment, Founding Director Mr. Vikrant Raj Pandey spoke about the significance of the programme, underscoring how it fosters leadership skills among students.
The Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao expressed her appreciation for the initiative, noting that, in today’s educational landscape, various skill-based programmes are being introduced at school level. She commended Fight Back Nepal for enabling DAV SKVB School to be at the forefront of skill-based safety education, particularly at a time when government authorities are working to make such programmes mandatory in schools.
