Inter House Science Quiz Contest for Grade V and VI Students

The Inter House Science Quiz Conest, organised by the Newton Science Club, was successfully held on 24th July 2025. The event brought together young enthusiasts from Grades V and VI for an engaging and intellectually stimulating contest. A total of 24 selected students participated in the competition.
The competition, conducted as part of the academic enrichment programme, saw active participation from all four houses – Mount Annapurna, Mount Dhaulagiri, Mount Machhapuchhre, and Mount Gaurishankar. Students competed in teams, showcasing their knowledge of science and their ability to think critically under pressure.
Notably, the team from Mount Dhaulagiri House secured the first position, followed by Mount Lhotse House in Second Place, while Mount Machhapuchhre House earned the third position. Participants from Mount Annapurna House displayed commendable effort and received certificates of participation.
The first position achievers are Saurabi Karki, Rihansee Mehta, Elegance Sapkota and Kritisa Lamsal.
The quiz not only promoted scientific curiosity but also fostered teamwork and confidence among the students. Certificates were issued to all participating students on the same day, acknowledging their efforts and enthusiasm.
