Inter-Class Library Speech Competition for Grade XI and XII Students

The Helen Keller Library Club organised an Inter-Class Library Speech Competition for Grade XI and XII students in the presence of the Head of the Senior School Library, Mr Surya Majhi, at Jetavan Hall on 8 August.
A total of nine selected students, representing their respective sections from both grades, participated in the competition, showcasing their exceptional oratory skills. The topic for Grade XI was “Book – A Reader’s Best Friend”, while Grade XII students spoke on “Every Library Holds a Thousand Doors to a New World”.
As per the results, Shubh Kumar Dhanuka from Grade XI ‘A’ secured first place, followed by Paridhi Bagaria from Grade XII ‘D’ in second place, and Vedanshi Kedia from Grade XI ‘D’ in third place. The panel of judges comprised Ms Diksha Koirala and Ms Isha Tripathi, while the event was moderated by Megha Thakur from Grade XI ‘B’.
Addressing the gathering, Senior School Activity In-charge Mr. Tankanath Ghimire commended all the participants for their engaging presentations and encouraged them to continue honing their oratory skills. He also urged the audience to participate actively in future events with similar enthusiasm and preparation.
The audience included students from Grade XI ‘D’ and ‘E’ sections. The winners were presented with Certificates of Achievement immediately after the programme.
