Sports Tour of DAV to West Bengal and Odisha, India

The Cricket and Football teams of DAV undertook an enriching sports tour to Bolpur, West Bengal, as well as to the historic Jagannath Dham and the sea beach in Puri, Odisha, from 26th March to 4th April 2026.
The tour comprised 11 students from the Under-13 Cricket Team, 11 students from the Under-15 Cricket Team, and 13 students from the Under-15 Football Team.
DAV Under-15 Cricket Team delivered an impressive performance, securing a 2–1 victory in the bilateral series against Bolpur Town Club. Rudra Gupta was honoured with the Best Bowler Award, while Aayush Sagar Patel was declared the Man of the Series.
The Under-13 Cricket Team and the Under-15 Football Team also benefited greatly from the tour, gaining valuable match experience with Bolpur Town Club.
The students were accompanied by the Head of the Physical Education and Sports Department, Mr. Purnendu Ghosh, along with cricket coaches Mr. Dilip Yadav and Mr. Bhuvneshwor Ram, and football coaches Mr. Bijay Maharjan and Ms. Chandra Bhandari.
