Inauguration of the 2nd Sushil Kedia Memorial Inter School Basketball Tournament, 2025

The 2nd Sushil Kedia Memorial Inter School Basketball Tournament was formally inaugurated at the school premises today (12th August, 2025).
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal, paying homage to the late Sushil Kedia, the late Shankar Lal Kedia, and all the departed souls, in the presence of Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji and Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Mr. Purnendu Ghosh.
Following the lamp-lighting, the school authorities engaged in an introductory session with the participating players and referees. The proceedings continued with the rendition of the National Anthem, after which the Vice-principal ceremoniously handed over the basketball to the referees, symbolising the commencement of the tournament. Vice-principal and Senior School Co-ordinator extended their best wishes to all players from the participating schools.
The MC for the inauguration ceremony was Mr. Santosh Rai, Activity In-charge for Grades V and VI. The tournament features ten girls’ teams and ten boys’ teams, each representing a different school. The semi-final matches are scheduled for 13th August 2025, with the final to be held on 15th August 2025.
