Semi-Final of Voice DAV Seniors 2026

The Music Department and Natikaji Music Club of DAV School organised the much-awaited Semi-Final of Voice DAV Seniors 2026 at Indu Hall, Indu Sadan. The event brought together talented students from Classes IX, X, and XI, giving them a wonderful opportunity to share their love for music and showcase their vocal abilities.
The programme was graced by Mr. Ramchandra Khanal and Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji. The performances were evaluated by Mr. Bibek Thapa and Mr. Jitendra Chaudhary, who appreciated the students for their confidence, dedication, and impressive vocal performances.
Fourteen talented semi-finalists presented songs from a variety of genres. Devarya Jain (XI A) performed Ye Raatein Ye Mausam, while Shuvam Paudel (XI B) presented Aaudai Jadai. Abigail Tamang (XI A) sang Timi Ra Ma, and Ujjwal Dhoot (XI B) performed Tu Jaane Na. From Class X, Gunjan Chitrakar (X F) presented Maine Sikhha, Shivam Malla (X F) sang Sansaar, Somnath Rauniyar (X H) performed Mitwa, and Pragyan Adhikari (X B) presented Doko Bune.
The Class IX participants also added great charm to the competition. Soniya K.C. (IX D) performed Adhuro Prem, Roxaulina Thapa (IX J) sang Kati Baschhu, Mrinalika Giri (IX I) presented Bhumo, Shireesa Shakya (IX B) performed Sadhai Sadhai, Preetishree Shrestha (IX B) sang Hami, and Tezila Maharjan (IX B) presented Hey Saila.
The programme concluded with words of encouragement from the dignitaries and judges. The results of the semi-final were announced by CCA In-charge of Senior School Mr. Tankanath Ghmire during the morning assembly on September 21, 2026, in the esteemed presence of Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji.
The six students selected for the Voice DAV Seniors 2026 final round are Tezila Maharjan (IX B) for Hey Saila, Mrinalika Giri (IX I) for Bhumo, Pragyan Adhikari (X B) for Doko Bune, Shivam Malla (X F) for Sansaar, Somnath Rauniyar (X H) for Mitwa, and Abigail Tamang (XI A) for Timi Ra Ma.
