Ananya and Meghna Crowned with Mr. and Miss DAV Title-2024/25

Ananya Jha from Grade XII 'A' and Meghna Pant from Grade XII 'C' were crowned Mr. and Miss DAV for the 2024/25 session at the farewell ceremony held at The Soaltee Hotel on 2nd February 2025.
The prestigious titles were conferred in the presence of Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel, Dean of Kathmandu University, School of Education, along with Special Guests Mr. Vikas Anand, Chief Operating Officer of Nepal SBI Bank, and Mr. Tej Thapa, Manager of SBI Bank, New Road. The honour was bestowed upon Ananya and Meghna by the Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, Vice-Principal, Mr. Ramchandra Khanal, and CAO, Ms. Vijaya Tater.
Mr. DAV, Ananya Jha, was presented with a traditional Nepali Topi, a Khada, and several gift hampers, while Miss DAV, Meghna Pant, received a crown, a Khada, and multiple gift hampers. The nominees for the Mr. DAV title included Ananya Jha (Grade XII 'A'), Sujal Shah (Grade XII 'B'), Utkarsh Tiwari (Grade XII 'C'), Mrigank SJB Rana (Grade XII 'D'), and Harsh Joshi (Grade XII 'E'). Likewise, the nominees for Miss DAV were Vanshika Agrawal (Grade XII 'A'), Nandani Rai (Grade XII 'B'), Meghna Pant (Grade XII 'C'), Kashvi Agrawal (Grade XII 'D'), and Avishi Shailej Teri (Grade XII 'E').
The contestants for the prestigious titles were evaluated through multiple rounds, including an introductory round, an extempore round, and a talent round. The judging panel consisted of Junior School Coordinator, Mr. Andrew Fitz Patrick, Kindergarten Coordinator, Ms. Shanti Gurung, and Dance HoD, Ms. Srijana Shrestha. The winners were officially announced by Middle School Co-ordinator Mr. Krishna Joshi. Prior to the announcement, all participants were honoured with a Khada by the Principal as a token of appreciation for their participation.
Additionally, a group of nine students who showcased outstanding performance during the Grade XII Boot Camp at Ratnagiri Resort, Nagarkot, were recognized with special prizes. These students were awarded a book, a Certificate of Achievement, and a Dairy Milk chocolate by the distinguished guests. The winners included Kkrishant Gurung (Best Volunteer), Naveen Bashyal Sharma (Best Dressed), Suyesh Naulakha (Most Responsible), Shivam Jain (Most Cooperative), Trishna Bansal (Most Enthusiastic), Rishi Nath Kumar Singh (Best Participation), Keepa Maharjan (Most Sociable), Sonali Jaiswal (Most Disciplined), and Jiya Ambastha (Most Punctual).
