Muffin with Mothers

DAV launched a Muffin with Mothers, an innovative parental involvement programme from this academic session.

A muffin with mother was organized on July 19. DAV invited representative mothers from all the sections of Kindergarten to Grade XII and celebrated the event with grand success. The programme was separately conducted in Junior School (Kindergarten and Primary Schools), Middle School (Grade V to VIII) and Senior School (Grade IX to XII).

The Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao addressed the programme and said the main objective of the programme is to seek parental involvement in the school'. The Principal added,' research have shown when parents step in the school and witness the activities of their wards, the children have shown better performance in academics and co-scholastic areas'.  In addition, the children love to see the parents in the school.

DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia addressed the programme and said, 'DAV has always been striving to link culture in education'. He added, 'Both Mothers and Fathers are in fact the form of Godesses and God' and suggested everyone to go through the ancient eastern literature so that everyone could respect fathers and mothers in a real sense'. He also motivated students to follow the guidelines of parents'.

Vice-principal Mr. Ram Chandra Khanal offered a vote of Thanks and extended sincere gratitude to all mothers who were present to bless the children despite their busy schedule.

CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater along with all the members of management committee extended a warm hospitality and generosity to all the mothers.

Representative mothers- Ms. Poonam Jha and Ms. Bimala Joshi addressed the programme and appreciated Education pattern of DAV. 

Poonam Jha, a mother of Elina Jha from Grade XI B addressed the assembly and said 'I am one mother and DAV is another mother to my daughter'. She believed that her daughter is getting best education she could get in any parts of the world'.

Similarly, Ms. Bimala Joshi, a mother of Karan Bhatta appreciated all the interactions programme of DAV School, classrooms teaching and all other programme designed for the holistics development of the Children.  She also expressed immense pleasure to be a part of Muffin with Mother'.

All the invited mothers were served muffins and snacks before the departure.
