2nd Edition of ‘Late Sushil Kedia Memorial Sports Gala’ Concludes; DAV Blue Wins Cricket Title

The second edition of the ‘Late Sushil Kedia Sports Gala’ has successfully come to an end. The gala was held at DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, from 17th August to 7th September.
The event brought together 1,020 young athletes from 98 schools, who competed in different sports.
Cricket
DAV Blue won the 8th Sushil Kedia Memorial Cup after defeating DAV Yellow by 30 runs in the final.
Individual Cricket Awards:
Player of the Tournament & Best Batter: Shekhar Shah (DAV Blue)
Best Bowler: Shreyash Awasthi (LRI School)
Emerging Player: Aayush Shahi (Himalayan White House IB World School)
Best Wicketkeeper: Ronish Karanjit (DAV Yellow)
In the semifinals,
DAV Blue defeated Nepal Police School, while DAV Yellow overcame Himalayan White House International School.
