Assembly Honour to the Achievers of English Week, 2026

A joyful sense of pride filled the morning assembly on 26th August as students were recognised for their excellent performances during English Week, 2026. The assembly honoured the second- and third-position holders from Grade V to VIII in various literacy and creative writing competitions.
Mr. Ramchandra Khanal in the presence of Head of the English Department, Ms. Asha Khadka, graced the occasion and presented medals and certificates to the winners.
The awards celebrated students’ talents in different areas. Students of Grade V and VI were recognised for their neat and creative work in the Calligraphy and Handwriting Competition and their thoughtful writing in the Movie Review Competition. Similarly, students of Grade VII and VIII were honoured for their expressive and reflective writing in the Diary Entry and Writing Competition.
The celebration was made even more special by the large number of participants. According to the Club In-charge Mr. Ganesh Paudel, a total of 116 students from Grades V to VIII received medals and certificates for their achievements. The first-position holders, along with other outstanding performers in English Week, will be honoured at the grand closing ceremony to be held at Buddha Hall on September 1.
