Results of the First Family Jamboree Announced in the Assembly

The results of the Grade VIII Family Jamboree were announced by the Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, during the Award Distribution Assembly of the Middle School today (5th August, 2026).
The performances were evaluated individually by a panel of parents of Grade VII students.
As per the results, Nepali Dance secured the first position with 1,644 marks, winning medals and chocolates. Mr. Ramchandra Khanal and CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater honoured the winners with medals and chocolates. The choreographer of the winning Nepali Dance, Mr. Sanjay Magar, received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, while the item in-charge teachers were also honoured.
Nepali Dance was followed by Bollywood Dance with 1,614 marks and Thematic Dance with 1,562 marks.
The Principal appreciated every student who participated in the eight cultural performances, praising their outstanding talent and dedication.
In her special remarks, she highlighted that a Skit had been introduced for the first time in the Family Jamboree. Although it secured the eighth position, she invited all the skit performers onto the stage, introduced each of them, and honoured them with chocolates. She also gave the students an opportunity to present some of the most interesting dialogues from their performance.
Emphasising the importance of drama and skits in expressing human feelings and emotions, the Principal announced that a skit would henceforth be a regular part of every Middle School Jamboree.
The skit directors, Ms. Shreejana Bajracharya and Mr. Surchen Shah, were also honoured with cash prizes of Rs. 5,000.
