People Respecting Others (PRO) Awards Announced in Middle School

The People Respecting Others (PRO) Awards for the Academic Session 2025/26 were announced during the Middle School Award Distribution Assembly today (5th August, 2026).
Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, in the presence of Mr. Ramchandra Khanal and CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater, honoured the winners with awards and certificates. The People Respecting Others (PRO) Award is bestowed upon students who demonstrate outstanding respect towards the entire DAV family. The value-based theme of DAV School for the month of August 2026 is Respect. The award is presented every alternate year and is coordinated by the Exam Cell.
The recipients of the PRO Awards are Deevashri Basnet (Grade IV 'A'), Prapti Poudel (Grade V 'B'), Arnav Bhardwaj (Grade V 'H'), Soniksha Chaudhary (Grade VI 'F'), Ujala Shakya (Grade VI 'J'), Abhipsa Dhakal (Grade VII 'F'), and Sumiko Gurung (Grade VII 'J').
The Principal congratulated each award recipient on their outstanding achievement and extended her best wishes for their future endeavours.
In her brief address, the Principal encouraged students by saying, "Your school is full of awards, recognition and certificates." She urged them to wake up to the opportunities around them and make consistent efforts in their learning to earn such recognition. She concluded the award ceremony by expressing her hope of seeing many more students come forward to receive awards, certificates of achievement, and chocolates in the future.
The award ceremony was moderated by Grade VII and VIII Activity In-charge Mr. Surchen Shah.
