Mental Health Counseling Session for Grade XII Students

Date: Jul 21st, 2026

Mental Health Counseling Session was conducted for the students of Grade XII on 17th and 18th July, 2026. The session featured resource person Preethi Bhaskar, a certified nurse and life coach, who joined the gathering online.
Designed to promote mental health, emotional awareness, and well-being, the interactive session encouraged students to seek support during challenging times. As a practical stress management exercise, participants actively engaged in and enjoyed practicing the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) according to School's Counselor Ms. Shreejana Rana.
The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer period where students raised thoughtful concerns regarding overwhelming thoughts, supporting tight-lipped peers, and managing continuous pressure and judgment. Ms. Bhaskar addressed these questions with practical strategies, emphasizing thought prioritization, healthy stress management, and the importance of seeking help from trusted adults or mental health professionals. Overall, the initiative provided a safe, informative platform that successfully fostered resilience and raised awareness about mental health.
