Rhythm of Tomorrow: Every Step Begins a Dream

The semi-final round of the Primary-Level Dance Competition, organised by the Dance Department of DAV School, was held in Pratik Hall on July 20. The competition was based on the title "Rhythm of Tomorrow" and the slogan "Every Step Begins a Dream."
A total of 25 contestants, after progressing through different rounds, secured their places in the semi-final. The journey began with auditions involving all Junior School students from Grades I to IV. Following the auditions, 5 to 10 students from each section were selected for the second round, from which 25 students advanced to the semi-final.
In the semi-final, all the contestants showcased their outstanding dancing skills. The participants performed individually with their own preparations.
According to the Dance Department, a total of 13 students will qualify for the grand finale. The results are yet to be announced.
According to the Junior School Dance Teachers, the objective of the competition was to provide a platform for students to showcase and explore their hidden dancing talents. The judges for the competition were Dance Teachers Ms. Narmila Subedi (Middle School) and Ms. Sarita Khadka (Kindergarten). Mr. Janak Chaudary, Dance Teacher of the Junior School, served as the moderator of the programme.
The competition was held in the presence of Junior School Co-ordinator Mr. Andrew Fitz Patrick, Dance HoD Ms. Shreejana Shrestha, Junior School Activity In-charge Ms. Anusha Rana, and all the faculty members of the Dance Department.
