Inter-Section Nepali Verse Poetry Recitation and Enactment Competition Marks 213th Bhanu Jayanti in Junior School

Devkota Nepali Club of Junior School organised an Inter-Section Nepali Verse Poetry Recitation and Enactment Competition to celebrate 213th Bhanu Jayanti. The programme was held in Pratik Hall on July 16.
A total of thirteen students participated in the competition, including six students from Grade III and seven students from Grade IV. According to the Club In-charge, Ms. Nirmala Devkota, the competition aimed to nurture students' linguistic creativity and inspire them to appreciate the beauty of Nepali verse poetry.
The competition also helped students learn about the invaluable contribution of Bhanubhakta Acharya, whose literary works played a significant role in enriching and promoting the Nepali language, literature and culture.
The competition was evaluated by Ms. Kalpana Bhatta, a Middle School Nepali language teacher. The programme was smoothly compered by Smarika Rokaya and Pranav Ranjitkarfrom Grade IV.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the expressive recitations and lively enactments presented by the young participants. The winners, along with all the participants, will be awarded merit certificates in due course.
