Saint leader Shree Mahantha Thakur visited DAVSKVB School on 4th May, 2026. During his visit, he toured the school library, science laboratories, and several classrooms. His visit reflected a keen interest in understanding how young learners are being educated within the DAV system.
He was warmly received by the Chairperson of DAVSKVB, Shree Anil Kedia, along with members of the School Management Committee, including Mr. Rakesh Jha. On this occasion, the Chairperson briefly outlined the school’s efforts to maintain a harmonious balance between modern education and Vedic values.
The guest showed particular interest in the school’s rich collection of ancient texts, including the Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana, and Mahabharata. These valuable resources were originally collected by the late Shree Shankar Lal Kedia, the founder of DAV School. Continuing his father’s legacy, the Chairperson, Shree Anil Kedia, has further enriched the library with a substantial collection of such classical texts.
Mahantha Thakur is a member of the National Assembly and currently serves as a guardian of the Janata Samajbadi Party, Nepal.
