Thematic Dance Clinches First Place at Grade VIII Family Jamboree

The results of the Grade VIII Family Jamboree were announced today, 1st March, 2026, during the morning assembly by Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao. The competition had been evaluated by the parents of Grade VII students.
Thematic Dance emerged victorious, securing the first position with an impressive score of 1,760 points. The winning team members were felicitated with medals and Dairy Milk chocolates by the Administrative team.
On this occasion, the choreographer and composer of the thematic dance, Mr. Lizendra Maharjan, was awarded a cash prize of NPR 10,000. The item in-charges—Mr. Pradeep Shrestha, Mr. Diwas Bishwokarma, Mr. Chudamani Dahal, and Mr. T.N. Bhujel—were also honoured for their guidance and invaluable contribution.
Thematic Dance was closely followed by Nepali Dance with 1,703 points and Bharatnatyam Dance with 1,673 points, securing the second and third positions respectively. A total of eight cultural items were showcased during the Jamboree.
The Principal extended her heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all winners and participants for their enthusiastic and inspiring performances.
