Principal Honours Achievers of Phoenix Martial Arts Kathmandu District Level Taekwondo Championship

Today, 1st March, 2026, during the morning assembly, Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, in the presence of the administrative team, honoured the students who excelled at the Phoenix Martial Arts Kathmandu District Level Taekwondo Championship.
A team of 15 students from DAV delivered an exceptional performance at the championship held on 28th February 2082 at Kapan, Budhanilkantha. Demonstrating remarkable skill, determination, and sportsmanship, the students brought immense pride to the school by winning a total of 18 medals: 4 gold, 5 silver, and 9 bronze.
In recognition of the school’s outstanding results, the administrative team received a Token of Appreciation.
Additionally, DAV’s Taekwondo Coach, Mr. Hemraj Shahi, was honoured with a cash prize of NPR 10,000 for his guidance in helping the students achieve remarkable success at the 4th Mt. Everest International Taekwondo Championship 2026, which saw the participation of over 1,500 athletes from 23 nations.
