Visit to Sumeru City Hospital, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur

The Mother Teresa Social Service Club organised a hospital visit to Sumeru City Hospital on 10th February, 2026 with the objective of fostering a culture of volunteering and social responsibility among students.
A total of 33 social club members from Grades V to IX participated in the programme. The students were accompanied by Ms. Kamana Adhikari, Ms. Sushma Lamsal, and Club In-charge Mr. Shreedhar Subedi.
Established in 2069 B.S., Sumeru City Hospital currently operates with 100 beds and provides a wide range of medical services. During the visit, students actively engaged in learning about the hospital’s overall operations, from administrative management to various medical departments and healthcare professionals.
The programme proved to be an enriching and educational experience, broadening students’ understanding of healthcare services while nurturing empathy and a spirit of community service.
