9 Schools of Kathmandu Valley Participated in Teachers Training at DAV

Maths Teachers’ Training Programme on the topic ‘Maths Art’ was successfully organised at DAV School on January 30. The programme was conducted by DAV School Management in collaboration with the Kantipur Educational Development Council (KEDC), Kathmandu.
The training brought together teachers from nine schools, with 33 Mathematics teachers from DAV School and 27 teachers from other schools, making the event a vibrant platform for professional learning and collaboration.
The training session was led by the resource person, Mr. H. N. Upadhyay, who guided the participants through innovative ways of integrating art into the teaching of Mathematics, making the subject more engaging, creative and student-friendly.
The programme included an introduction to the training, an interactive training session, and concluded with a closing ceremony followed by certificate distribution. Teachers actively participated in discussions and activities, gaining practical insights to enhance classroom teaching.
The teachers of DAV School, along with those from the other participating schools, expressed their sincere gratitude to the organisers and the resource person for their professional support.
