On-the-Spot Landscape Art Competition Organised at Pimbahal, Lalitpur

With the objective of nurturing creativity, sharpening observational skills and encouraging students to appreciate natural and cultural landscapes through art, On-the-Spot Landscape Art Competition was organised at Pimbahal, Lalitpur on December 26.
The competition was organised by Art and Craft Department of DAV School, in collaboration with the Byuttam Kiran Art Club.
Art HOD Mr. Raju Muni Bajracharya stated that the primary objective of the programme was to provide students with real-life artistic exposure beyond the classroom, enabling them to translate their visual experiences into expressive artwork while fostering confidence and originality.
A total of 38 students participated in the competition. They were accompanied by Mr. Raju Muni Bajracharya, Head of the Department of Art and Craft, and Ms Samita Maharjan, Club In-charge, who guided and encouraged the participants throughout the event.
The artworks will be evaluated soon, and the winners will be felicitated with gift hampers and certificates. The competition proved to be an enriching experience, inspiring young artists to observe their surroundings more closely and express their creativity with enthusiasm.
