Educational Tour of Grade X CBSE Students in Pokhara Valley

A group of 35 enthusiastic Grade X CBSE students embarked on an educational tour to the picturesque Pokhara Valley from 25th to 28th December, 2025.
The tour offered students meaningful exposure to the region’s stunning natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The group was accompanied by the Senior School Officer, Mr. Prashant Samal, along with two teachers.
As shared by Mr. Shalendra Yadav, Grade X CBSE Teacher, the journey commenced on 25th December with travel to Dhampus. The first day concluded with a campfire experience, creating an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie and setting the tone for the days ahead.
The second day began with an early morning trek to the Australian Base Camp, where students were rewarded with breathtaking views of the sunrise over the majestic mountains. The itinerary then included a visit to the Bindabasini Temple, followed by a tranquil boating experience on Fewa Lake to reach the revered Tal Barahi Temple. The day continued with visits to Pumdikot for Shiva Darshan and the Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa), before returning to Lakeside in the evening.
Day three featured an extensive exploration of Pokhara’s renowned attractions, including Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, the International Mountain Museum, Mahendra Cave, Chamero (Bat) Cave, and the KI Singh Bridge. The students also experienced the lively street festival at Lakeside and concluded the day with an energetic dance programme at the hotel.
On the final day, the students enjoyed breakfast by the lakeside before departing for Kathmandu, bringing a memorable and enriching journey to a close.
