Avanie Clinches Ladies’ Title at Nepal Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament 2025; She will travel to India on 11th January, 2026 for a one-month golf training programme at Tarun Sardesai Golf Academy, Kolar, Karnataka.

Avanie Rai, a student of Grade IX 'H' delivered an outstanding performance to win the Ladies’ Title at the Nepal Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament 2025, held on 27th December.
She secured first place with an impressive net score of 32 and was felicitated with the winner’s trophy along with a gift voucher from Barahi Lodge, Chitwan.
Continuing her promising golf journey, she will travel to India on 11th January, 2026 for a one-month specialised golf training programme at the Tarun Sardesai Golf Academy in Kolar, Karnataka. This opportunity has been made possible through a scholarship supported by the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers (RCHG).
Prior to her departure, she is set to compete in the qualifying rounds of the Faldo Junior Nepal Championship 2026, scheduled for 7th to 9th January, 2026 further showcasing her commitment and dedication to the sport.
