Avanie Secures Runner-Up Positions in Two National Golf Tournaments

Avanie Rai, a student of Grade IX ‘H’, has brought great pride to DAV School by finishing as the runner-up in two prestigious National Golf Tournaments held in Kathmandu and Pokhara in December 2025.
She claimed the runner-up position in the Captain’s Cup Golf Tournament on 13th December at the Royal Nepal Golf Club. Following this, Avanie also secured the runner-up spot in the Ladies category, as well as in the Team Event, at the Pokhara Open Amateur Golf Tournament 2025, held on 19th–20th December at the Himalayan Golf Course, Pokhara.
For her achievements, she received a NPR 20,000 gift voucher and a 2-night/3-day stay at Fishtail Lodge, Pokhara, for the Captain’s Cup. At the Pokhara Open, she was awarded NPR 5,000 as the Ladies runner-up and NPR 30,000 for the Team Event.
