Yanzum Lama Clinches Rising Player Award and Gold Medal at 20th Nawa Shanti Cup Karate Championship 2025

Yanzum Lama, a student of Grade V emerged victorious in the girls’ category, winning the Rising Player Award along with the gold medal in the 35 kg weight category at the 20th Nawa Shanti Cup Karate Championship 2025, held on December 20 at Tarakeshwor Municipality-8, Kathmandu.
Organised by Nepal Shito-Ryu Karate-Do, Branch Dojo Nawa Shanti, the championship aimed to promote sportsmanship and karate excellence under the theme “Sports for Health, Sports for Nation.” The prestigious event saw participation from talented karatekas representing various clubs and dojos.
In recognition of her outstanding performance, Yanzum Lama was presented with the Rising Player Trophy, First Position Trophy, medals, and a certificate of achievement in the presence of distinguished officials and guests.
