Inter-Section Sanskrit ‘Sabdarupawali’ Competition for Grades V to VIII

Janardan Sanskrit Club organised an Inter-Section Sanskrit Sabdarupawali Competition for the students of Grades V to VIII in Jetavan Hall on 18th and 19th December, 2025.
The programme was conducted in the presence of Head of the Sanskrit Department, Mr. Purushottam Rijal.
The competition was held separately for each grade and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 70 students. According to the Club In-charge, Mr. Niranjan Khatiwada, the objective of the competition was to enhance students’ knowledge of Sanskrit vocabulary and strengthen their understanding of Sanskrit grammar.
As a part of the competition, students were given selected root words and were required to form as many correct Sanskrit words as possible. In accordance with Sanskrit grammar, up to twenty-four words can be derived from a single root word. The winners from each grade will be honoured with Certificates of Achievement in due course.
