Sahil Singh Ujjain Won Third Position in Inter School Poem Writing Competition

Sahil Singh Ujjain, a student of Grade XI, secured third position in the Inter School Hindi Poem Writing Competition held at Nepal-India Friendship Library on August 23. He was honoured with a certificate of achievement and awards immediately after the competition.
The event was jointly organised by Himalini Gyankunj and the Embassy of India. The competition saw the participation of students and teachers from all CBSE schools across the Kathmandu Valley. From DAV, Akshat Mishra of Grade XI and Vaibhav Agrawal of Grade XII also took part, reciting a poem written by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Hindi Language Teacher of DAV School, Ms. Indu Thakur, gave a presentation on the biography and literary contributions of the late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who also served as the Prime Minister of India.
Since 2025, Himalini Magazine, in collaboration with the Embassy of India, has been organising monthly literary gatherings in the capital to honour the contributions of renowned Indian literary figures whose birth anniversaries fall in the respective month.
