Avanie Clinches Golf Title and Receives a Scholarship Worth Rs. 1 Lakh at Indian Ambassador's Invitational Golf Tournament

Avanie Rai secured the title at the Indian Ambassador's Invitational Golf Tournament, held at Gokarna Golf Club on March 8. Rai dominated the Female category, scoring 34 points. In recognition of her achievement, she was awarded scholarships worth Rs. 100,000 by the Embassy of India.
Organized by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, the annual tournament saw 94 golfers compete over 18 holes in the stableford format with a 3/4 handicap allowance. His Excellency Shree Navin Srivastava, the Ambassador of India to Nepal along with Defence Attaché Col. V. Suvramanyam, Nepal SBI CEO Ram Kumar Tiwari, Agni Group Chairman Cabinet Shrestha, Gokarna Golf Club President Suhrid Ghimire, and Captain Joseph Nathan, presented prizes to the winners.
