Celebration of World Environment Day, 2023

The students from Kindergarten to Grade XII celebrated World Environment Day organised by Vasudha Eco Club on June 5.
The theme for World Environment Day for the year 2023 is, 'solutions to plastic pollution under the campaign #BeatPlasticPollution'.
Vasudha Eco Club members conducted the special morning assembly on Environment themes. The club members talked about the importance of natural environment and introduced the reason why people around the world celebrate world environment day.
To mark the celebration of World Environment Day, the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao along with all the school authorities joined the plantation programme initiated by Vasudha Eco Club and also extended support to all the environment friendly activities.
Similarly, around one hundred students from Grade V to XII participated in the cycle rally at Lalitpur Metropolitan City areas.
Vice-Principal Mr. Ram Chandra Khanal along with all the School authorities attended the opening of cycle rally and added encouragement to the cycle rider students. Few medical staff and teachers also joined the cycle rally with the students.
The celebration programme headed with an individual logo making competition for Grade XI and XII students in second period.
Likewise, five students from each section of Grade X participated in cleanliness programme. The cleanliness programme was held from second to fourth periods.
Similarly, Grade IX students participated in card board box and pen holder making competition in second period. The students made beautiful and stylish card board box and pen holder from the waste papers and newspapers.
Moving to the Middle School, Grade V students participated in Collage Making Competition, Grade VI students attended in Earth Face Mask Making Competition, Grade VII were engaged in Poster Making Competition and Grade VIII students took part in Cleanliness Programme. The theme for all the competition was 'Solutions to Plastic'. Vasudha Eco-Club partnered with Uttam Kiran Art Club in both Senior and Middle School for the conduction and evaluations of all the competitions and activities.
In the same trait, the junior school students (Grade I to IV) participated in green launch and seed dispersal activities. The kindergarten students participated in leaf printing and litchi seed sow activities.
