DAV Students Participate in Lord Gautam Buddha Painting Workshop for Grand Exhibition in Lumbini

On 5th May, 2025, a total of twenty students from the middle and senior school participated in a Lord Gautam Buddha Painting Workshop for the grand painting exhibitions in Lumbini. The exhibitions in Lumbini will be held on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima on May 12.
The Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, visited Art Hall and observed the students’ creative work. Meanwhile, she appreciated the beautiful paintings and congratulated each student, motivating them to continue growing in the field of art and craft. The workshop was organised by Mr. Rajumuni Bajracharya, Head of the Art Department and Ms. Samita Maharjan, Uttam Kiran Art Club In-charge.
According to Mr. Bajracharya, the canvases were provided by the Embassy of India, Lainchaur, Kathmandu, while the school arranged all other art materials. The artwork exhibited by students in Lumbini will later be placed at different locations within the premises of the Embassy of India in Lainchaur, Kathmandu.
