Winners of Character Tree Award Announced in Middle and Senior School

The Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao announced the winners of Character Tree Award of the Second Semester in the benign presence of Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia in the morning assembly of middle and senior School today (6th February, 2023).

The winners name and photo will be posted on the prestigious Character Tree in front of the Principal's Office. In addition, all the winners will be honoured with the Character Tree Award and a Merit Certificate by the School authorities soon.

Addressing the assembly, the Principal motivated the students to focus on self-discipline and said that the Character is the primary indicator to define success.   The Principal congratulated all the winners for deserving in the most prestigious Award of the school and motivated rest to keep good habbits intact as good habbits turns into the form of character and that determines the destiny.

In special focus the Principal interacted with the students and attempted to make them understand the role of good and healthy thoughts as the root of success  or the name and fame that every human being aspire in the life course. She also highlighted that the students were fortunate to learn with the best of the best teachers of Nepal.

For all these motives, the Principal also shed a light on the culture of attitude of gratitude and announced ' Teachers Gratitude Day' at the last working day of this academic session. Similarly, 'Catch Them Good Award' was also announced for all the students from Grade I to XII during her address. Likewise Best Sections will also be announced soon in the same trait.

Likewise, the Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia congratulated all the winners and motivated the students with the thoughtful quote, 'Intelligence plus character should be the sole aim of education' of Martin Luther king Jr. The Chairperson in short presented the successful stories of Yeti Carpet and Sitram Milk Factory and talked about the role of character and traits. DAV has been instilling all these values right from the childhood to make good human beings. He also extended best wishes to rest of the students and suggested to try again to achieve this kind of Award'.
