PTC and VOCAS Exhibitions, 2025

The Parents Teachers’ Conference for the Half-Yearly Examination, along with the VOCAS (Vocational, Calligraphy, Arts and Science) Exhibitions, was held on 8th November, 2025.
As a part of the Parents Teachers’ Conference (PTC), parents visited the school to collect the results of the Half-Yearly Examination. They had the opportunity to interact with class teachers and discuss the academic progress and overall development of their children. DAV Chairperson, Shree Anil Kedia, along with Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal and members of the School Management Committee, visited all the classrooms and interacted with students, parents, and teachers. The school also released its half-yearly newsletter, SANDESH, on the same day.
The VOCAS Exhibition showcased over 30 vibrant stalls, reflecting DAV’s commitment to holistic education. The displays ranged from innovative Science projects and practical demonstrations in Vocational Skills, Life Skills, Beauty and Health Science, IT and Electronics, Fashion Designing, and Mass Media, to the elegant artistry of Calligraphy. The Calligraphy section featured workshops on Ranjana Script, Devanagari Script, Bengali Script, and English Script conducted by guest expert Mr. Astaman Maharjan.
The Art and Craft section presented an impressive collection of 350 creative works, including Mould It, clay crafts, glass paintings, canvas art, and paper artwork. The Science section featured 92 models, while IT and Electronics showcased 35 models. Additionally, around 20 models were displayed under each of the categories—Beauty and Health Science, Mass Media, and Fashion Designing.
The exhibition commenced with a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony graced by the Chief Guest, Father George Kujur, Director of Don Bosco Institute, Thecho, Lalitpur, and the Guest of Honour, Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia and Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal.
Following the inauguration, the dignitaries, accompanied by parents, visited each stall, engaging with students and showing keen interest in their innovative exhibits. The visitors greatly appreciated the creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication displayed by the students. The opening ceremony of the VOCAS Exhibition was moderated by Middle School Activity In-charge, Mr. Surchen Shah.
