Maths Teachers Attended 1-day Training Session

The teachers associated with Mathematics Department attended a 1-day training session in the presence of Higher Secondary Education Board representative Mr. Keshav Kunwar at Neema Education Foundation, Gyneshwor on December 30.
The topics of the training session were 'Curriculum and Effective Pedagogy' and 'Effective Use of New Question Pattern or Items'.
The resource persons were Dr. Ramesh Awasthi and Dr. Nabin Paudel. Around 50 teachers from Kathmandu valley along with some distinguished book writers, editors and publishers attended the training session.
The participants from DAV were Mathematics HoD Mr. RK Tripathi along with Senior School Mathematics Teachers Mr. Ramesh Gurung, Mr. Amit Kumar Gupta, Mr. Bhawani Ghimire, Mr. Muralidhar Mishra, Mr. Shalendra Yadav and Mr. CB Basnet. The Training session also saw a participation of the Principals, Vice-principals, Co-ordinators and HoDs from around ten renowned schools of Kathmandu valley.
The moderator of the programme was Mr. Mohan Prashad Ghimire, Academic Director of Neema Publication. He read out the message of Mr. Hariman Pradhan, Chairman- Neema Education Foundation to begin the session.
On behalf of DAV School, Mr. CB Basnet presented his views at the end. Overall, the training session helped all the attendees to interact and present their views and feedback on new curriculum according to Mr. RK Tripathi.
