Mathematics Multiplication Quiz Contest for Grade III and IV Students

Aryabhatta Mathematics Club of Junior School organised a Mathematics Multiplication Quiz Contest for Grade III and IV students in Pratik Hall today (26th November).
A total of 36 students, comprising two students from each section of Grades III and IV, were selected to participate in the quiz contest. According to Activity In-charge of Junior School, the objective of the programme was to familiarise students with multiplication tables and enhance their calculation speed. Prior to the main event, oral quizzes were conducted by the mathematics teachers in each section of Grade III and IV.
The quiz contest featured three rounds: the Direct Question Round, the MCQ Round, and the Speed Round. The quiz was conducted by Ms. Nikita Shrestha, Club In-charge of the Newton Science Club, with board support provided by Ms. Simran Subedi. The audience comprised students from Grade III ‘A’ and ‘B’ sections.
As per the results, Group G secured the first position out of eight competing groups, while Section D and Section F jointly secured second position. The winners and all participants will soon be awarded Merit Certificates.
