Inter-House Swimming Competition, 2024

The Department of Physical Education and the Sports Club organised an Inter-House Swimming Competition for enthusiastic students at Bulls Club, Nakkhu, Lalitpur, on the 9th and 11th of August, 2024.
The competition was held separately for boys and girls. The girls went to Bulls Club on the 9th of August, and the boys competed on the 11th of August. Only students who already knew how to swim were allowed to take part. According to the Head of the Sports Department, Mr. Purnendu Ghosh, a total of 50 girls and 150 boys participated in the competition.
Sports teachers accompanied the participants. Similarly, all Nursery, LKG, and UKG students were also taken to Bulls Swimming Club for fun and entertainment, under the supervision of their Kindergarten teachers.
The aim of the inter-house swimming competition was to encourage boys and girls to engage in swimming, which is considered a comprehensive physical exercise that strengthens both muscles and bones through aerobic activity.
