
Inter-House Digital Storytelling Competition Held in Middle School

Charles Babbage Computer Club successfully organised an Inter-House Digital Storytelling Competition for the students of Grades V to VIII on 11th June in Jetavan Hall.
The competition aimed to foster essential soft skills such as communication, empathy, critical thinking, collaboration, and digital literacy through the creative process of story development and digital presentation. The audience comprised students from Grade VII 'C'. According to Mr. Arjun Khatiwada, Computer Club In-charge, the competition provided an engaging platform for students to explore the art of storytelling through technology.
A total of 24 students participated, with four representatives from each house. Using various computer applications, participants presented well-known English stories in an innovative and engaging format. The competition was evaluated by Mr. Arjun Khatiwada (Computer Department) and Mr. Nabaraj Basnet (English Department).
The team from Mt. Lhotse House, consisting of Anamol Ratan Shah (V 'F'), Ajala Lamichhane (VI 'F'), Athena Maity (VII 'J'), and Aishani Karn (VIII 'I'), secured first position. Mt. Dhaulagiri House and Mt. Kanchanjanga House secured the second and third positions respectively.
The winners will soon be awarded merit certificates in recognition of their achievement.
