Gold and Silver Medal in 4th Women's National Open Taekwondo Championship- 2081

Teliza Maharjan, a Grade VII student, won the Gold Medal, while Jhalak Regmi from Grade VIII secured the Silver Medal in the Junior 68 kg category at the 4th Women's National Open Taekwondo Championship - 2081.
Both medals were earned in the Kyorugi category. The championship was organised by the Nepal Taekwondo Association from 8th to 10th August 2024.
A total of twelve students from DAV participated in the event. Those who competed in the Kyorugi category included Yukta Poudel, Nhujala Shrestha, Pragya Pant, Nikita Thakur, Saguna Banjara, and Syna Shrestha.
In the Poomsae category, the participants were Tanishqa Shah, Shreya Bajracharya, Asmina K.C., and Yashika Sah. They were accompanied by the Martial Arts Teachers, Mr. Hem Raj Shahi and Ms. Ranju Tamang.
The National Championship brought together competitors from all seven provinces, along with teams from the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force, with a total of 455 participants.
