The General Meeting and Preview Presentation of the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao for the Academic Session 2025/26 took place in Buddha Hall on April 2.
On this significant occasion, Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia extended a warm welcome to all teachers, including newly appointed faculty members. He emphasized the importance of reviewing past achievements and previewing future plans for the growth of any organisation. Highlighting the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds, he shared an inspiring quote: 'Teachers who love teaching make children love learning.'
Chairperson stressed that the fundamental requirement of today’s education system is to ensure that every child feels happy at school. He encouraged teachers to teach with passion and dedication, fostering deeper understanding and knowledge retention among students.
Additionally, he expressed concern over declining concentration levels of the children of the present time, noting that many children struggle to focus on studies for extended periods. He firmly stated that the key to addressing this challenge lies in motivating students towards academics, which, in turn, cultivates concentration, perseverance, and creativity.
Reaffirming the school’s commitment to academic excellence, he urged the teaching faculty and management team to prioritize academics while maintaining a balanced approach to co-curricular activities. He also underscored the significance of competitive examinations and the practice of meditation to enhance students’ overall development. Furthermore, he commended the faculty for their insightful presentations, reinforcing the idea that learning is a continuous process that fosters innovation in education.
The Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao warmly welcomed the teaching fraternity and marked the commencement of the new academic session 2025/26. She expressed heartfelt appreciation for the teachers’ dedication and hard work in successfully concluding the academic session 2024/25.
In her address, the Principal presented a detailed preview of the academic session 2025/26 under the theme EACH. She introduced the portfolio holder teachers for the session, along with newly promoted faculty members and new appointments, including Team Heads, Class Teachers, House In-charges, and Club In-charges.
Aligning with Chairperson’s vision, the Principal emphasized a strong academic focus for the upcoming year. She also elaborated on how the school aims to achieve academic excellence through various strategic programmes under the EACH theme.
Before the General Meeting, from March 24 to 27, all Heads of Departments (HODs), Team Heads, Club In-charges, House In-charges, and Class Teachers conducted a thorough review of their assigned responsibilities.
The school management reaffirmed the continuation of the theme EACH for the session 2025/26, representing Empowering Every Student’s Academic Excellence, Cultural Sensitivity, and Holistic Well-being.
During the meeting, HODs from the English, Nepali, Mathematics, and Foreign Language departments, along with Team Heads from the Parental Involvement Team, School Display Team, and Classroom Walkthrough Team, shared their reviews of the academic session 2024/25. Club In-charges from the Mother Teresa Social Service Club, William Wordsworth English Club, and Kabir Sahitya Samaj (Junior School), as well as representative teachers from Grades IV and V, also presented their insights.
The general meeting concluded with closing remarks from Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal, who sincerely congratulated everyone on the successful completion of the session.
Teachers expressed great enthusiasm for the upcoming changes and showed strong support for the school’s vision. The meeting set a positive tone for the new academic session, fostering collaboration and teamwork to achieve shared educational goals.
