French Quiz Contest

The Foreign Language Department organised a French Quiz Contest for Grade VIII students in Jetavan Hall on August 14. The event was hosted by quiz masters Kriti Deo from Grade VIII 'A' and Shreeja Thakur from VIII 'C'.

The quiz featured a total of 50 questions covering Language and Culture, History and Geography, as well as Science and Technology. Mr. Sabin Shakya, the Head of the Foreign Language Department, provided brief explanations for each question as soon as the students gave their answers.

A total of 24 students participated in the quiz, while others attended as the audience. Among the four competing groups, the top performers were Aslesha Singh Mouni and Syna Shrestha from Section A, Tejaswi Khada, Nhyala Shrestha, and Hridesh Lekhak from Section B, and Darshana Mukherjee from Section G, who all represented Lille Group. The winners, along with other participants, will soon be honoured with merit certificates.

Additionally, the quiz contest was organised as part of the celebration of French National Day (Bastille Day), according to French Language teacher Mr. Arjun Mohan Bhattarai.
