DAV Team Departed for Indo-Nepal Friendship International U-16 Sports Meet

The Cricket and Football Team of DAV departed to Kolkata West Bengal, India to participate in Indo-Nepal Friendship International U-16 Sports Meet today (30th March, 2023).
Indo-Nepal Friendship International U-16 Sports Meet is scheduled from 1st April 2023 to 5th April, 2023. The cricket team is led by the head of the Physical Education Department Mr. Purnendu Ghosh and Mr. Dilip Yadav. Similarly, the football team is led by the teachers Mr. Shibin Varghese and Mr. Bijay Maharjan.
The Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao extended best wishes on their journey ahead and also motivated them to keep sportsmanship intact throughout the tournament. The Principal also provided some information useful to the students during their Kolkata stay.
The students of DAV who will also be representing Nepal in U-16 Cricket Tournament are Farhan Ansari- Grade VI, Pratik Kushwaha- Grade VII, Subrata Mallik- Grade VIII, Shekhar Mahato- Grade XI, Shekhar Sarawogi- Grade XI, Bhawesh Agrawal- Grade XI, Lakshya Somani- Grade XI, Yash Manohat- Grade XI, Adarsh Agrawal- Grade X, Kritik Gayawali- Grade IX, Shreyash Agrawal- Grade IX, Naman Rathi- Grade IX, Ankit Joshi- Grade IX, Nirmit Nepal- Grade IX and Amit Raj Shah- Grade IX.
Similarly, the students who will be representing Nepal in Football Tournament are Aayush Poudel- Grade IX, Saheb Gayen- Grade IX, Tushar Regmi- Grade IX, Suraj Jaiswal- Grade XI, Sankalpa Bista- Grade IX, Samip Karna- Grade IX, Avash Raj Karnikar- Grade IX, Raunak Shrestha –Grade VIII, Nickson Thapa- Grade VIII, Adrin Shrestha- Grade VIII, Subin Niraula- Grade VIII, Sankalpa Devkota- Grade VIII, Anuj Thapa- Grade VIII, Aditya Ghosal Shakya- Grade IX, Shuvam Jaiswal- Grade VIII, Anish Prajapati- Grade IX and Aman Mahato – Grade XI.
