DAV School Students Engage in Manchester United Soccer School Event

Approximately one hundred enthusiastic students from DAV School actively participated in the Manchester United Soccer School event under the gracious presence of Mr. Michael Neary, Head Coach of Manchester United Soccer School, and Mr. Karthik Arumugam, UEFA A Licensed Coach from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
The event held at Chyasal Football Ground on 23 April was a part of Talent Hunt Programme initiated by the prestigious Manchester United Club of the United Kingdom, as highlighted by Mr. Purnendu Ghosh, Head of DAV Sports Academy.
With a total of five hundred students from across the country showcasing their soccer prowess, the event was made accessible to the public through their website. Mr. Bijay Maharjan, Football Coach at DAV School, revealed that one boy and one girl from both the Under-14 and Under-17 categories would earn the opportunity to participate in training programs, exhibitions, competitions, and other events in London.
Accompanied by Mr. Bijay Maharjan, Football Coach at DAV School, and Sports Teachers Ms. Chandra Bhandari, Ms. Riya Dahal, and Mr. Yaman Maharjan, the students eagerly descended upon the Chyasal Football Ground.
With boundless enthusiasm and joy, the students actively engaged in the program, drawing praise and encouragement from both Mr. Michael Neary and Mr. Karthik Arumugam. The coaches were deeply impressed by the fervor for football in Nepal and urged the young participants to persist in their passion for the sport.
