Celebration of Anti-bullying Week in Junior and Middle School
Date: Dec 5th, 2024
The Counseling Team organised Anti-bullying Week for the Primary Wing and Middle School, featuring a variety of engaging activities from 24th to 29th November.
The celebration aimed at raising awareness about bullying and fostering kindness, respect, and empathy among students according to Counseling Team Head Ms. Pratikshya Nepali.
For Grade I, the Wrinkled Heart Activity was held where students used paper hearts to illustrate the impact of hurtful words and the importance of kindness, as students wrinkled their hearts for unkind words and smoothed them for kind ones.
Similarly, Grade II students created pledge cards, committing to make their classrooms bullying-free zones, while Grade III students worked on a worksheet encouraging them to reflect on ways to show respect to themselves, their surroundings, and others.
In the same trait, Grade IV, students created slogans to promote the theme of Respect. A poster-making competition was conducted for Grades V and VI, centered on the same theme, and Grades VII and VIII expressed their thoughts on Respect through essays, poems, and stories.
All the winners of the week will be honoured with certificate of achievements soon.
