Animal Feeding at Central Zoo, Jawalakhel, 2025/26

The Animal Feeding Programme organised by the Friends of Zoo (FoZ) Club was held at Central Zoo, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, on 13th November, 2025.
A total of fifty-two FoZ Club members from Grades VII, VIII, IX and X took part in the event. Under the guidance of zoo keepers, the students fed a variety of foods to the captive animals.
During the visit, the participants also attended a presentation organised by the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC).
According to Club In-charge Mr Pradeep Shrestha, the programme enabled students to learn about and explore the feeding behaviour of wild animals in captivity.
